Extended measurement range up to 6.5 logD
Adding this option enables the measurement of very dense samples or coatings, for example for process control of technical processes like the production of black foils or coating of glass.
Using a high-intensity white LED with 6000 kelvin and selected test receivers the measurement range is extended to 6.5 logD. This equals approximately 0.3 PPM (parts per million) of unobstructed light transmittance.

Please note:

  • This option cannot be combined with option 08 (Multi color transmission light)
  • Aperture diameters less than 3mm reduce the measurement range
