Due to the purchase order of HelmholtzZentum München (reporting department) in 2008 we have been claimed to realise the most ambitious project up to now.
All of the individual design procedure and manufacturing of three units have been done hand in hand with the customer. Nine electrical drives in the range of DC motor, stepper motor and AC servo drives have been used for the various functions.
The unit serves to analyse linked dosimeter films. The optical density of the films is checked by default with an ultra linear monochrome camera while the serial number is recognised by OCR. Peculiar films are inspected in addition by a motorised densitometer which enables stable density measurement with a resolution of 0.001 log.D in the range up to 6.5 log.D!
The films are automatically placed and reeled and could be ripped out.
Thanks to the modular configuration, the system is easy to maintain.
