Autoflex Inspection unit

Company Satisloh AG, the supplier of solid optical manufacturing solutions assigned us to design a inspection unit for eyeglass lenses.

Of course the principal of using a point light source for that purpose is well known, but the high pressure vapour lamps used until now have several disadvantages. High temperature while operation and the need for special high voltage controller units are some of these, but finally the risk of explosion needs some hazard control.                               

In contrast to that our system uses a high brightness LED with a very small spot. So we offer a low budget solution, emitting a high resolution dimmable light without a fan needed.

The product could be purchased also by other companies of optical manufacturing solutions.

 
The left picture shows the projection of a homogeneous manufactured lens, while the right one shows a faulty lens.
